AAIB opens six new branches in Greater Cairo, governorates, aims to increase number to 100

The series of branches includes Souhag, Sukhna port, Mandara, Abbasia, Shams Club, Obour Buildings


The Arab African International Bank (AAIB) has opened six new branches since the start of this year within the framework of its plan to expand in the Egyptian market as it aims to reach 100 branches over the upcoming period in order to provide its banking services to the largest number possible of clients.

The series of new branches to spread across different governorates,  including Souhag, Sukhna port, Mandara, Abbasia, Shams Club, and Obour Buildings

The bank offers various products and services through its branches, including Western Union Money Transfer service, in addition to many other services offered by ATMs of the bank which are estimated to be 410 across the country.

“AAIB invests in building and establishing a strong branches network as the most important point of contact with clients. The locations of branches are chosen according to specific standards, including the attractiveness of the area in terms of population, the expected size of business, the presence of other branches nearby, and the area’s need for increasing the number of branches with the increase of number of clients,” said Hallah Al-Fas, the supervisor of retail branches and wealth management within the bank.

She explained that all the new branches recently opened have achieved success in terms of profitability and the clients’ satisfaction which is measured regularly by the quality administration at the bank.

She added that AAIB bank’s branches and the wealth management department are concerned with serving clients with a distinct financial solvency and promoting the services of the services of sister companies, such as mortgage funding, financial leasing and portfolio management.

Taking into consideration the increased demand on the services and products of the bank’s investment arms, she noted that clients of AAIB always feel like they are the clients of an integrated financial institution that provides right services and financial advice in light of the local and international changes.

According to Himanshu Shrimali, the head of retail banking at AAIB, the bank gives great attention to the sector of retail banking since it is one of the most promising sectors in Egypt.

He added that in an attempt to reinforce the philosophy of the bank, which gives great attention to its clients, the branches network stressed its presence in all vital areas in accordance with the clients’ desire for communication.

She stressed that the bank continues to expand in the Egyptian banking market to maintain its leadership as one of the largest financial entities in Egypt and the Middle East.
